Our Commitment to Sustainable Packaging: Reducing Environmental Impact Through Engineering Excellence
At our induction sealing wads manufacturing unit, we have implemented advanced product and material engineering solutions to significantly reduce environmental impact across multiple clients and applications. Here are some key outcomes we’ve achieved:
1. Plastic Reduction – Up to 37%
- Monthly reduction: ~80 kg
- Yearly reduction: ~1 ton
This significantly decreases plastic usage and contributes to lowering landfill and ocean waste.
2. Virgin Pulp Board Optimization – Up to 17% Reduction
- Monthly reduction: ~800 kg
- Yearly reduction: ~10 tons
- Trees saved: ~24 trees/month | ~288 trees/year
By reducing virgin pulp usage, we preserve natural forests and minimize deforestation.
3. 100% Replacement of Virgin Pulp Board with Recycled Board
- Monthly reduction of virgin board: ~3 tons
- Yearly reduction: ~360 tons
- Trees saved: ~80 trees/month | ~9,600 trees/year
This full switch to recycled material supports a circular economy and drastically cuts environmental degradation.
4. Aluminium Foil Reduction – Up to 40%
- Monthly reduction: ~80 kg
- Yearly reduction: ~1 ton
This helps conserve a highly energy-intensive, non-renewable resource.
5. Wax Usage Reduction – Up to 33%
- Monthly reduction: ~20 kg
- Yearly reduction: ~250 kg
6. 100% Recycling of Production Waste All process-generated waste during wad manufacturing is completely recycled through trusted third-party channels. This ensures zero contribution to landfill waste and supports a sustainable production cycle.
Environmental Impact Summary
- Drastic reduction in plastic, aluminium, virgin pulp, and petroleum-based inputs
- Over 10,000 mature trees saved annually
- Zero waste manufacturing through complete recycling of production scrap
Through continuous innovation, PDPC is proud to help our clients reduce their environmental footprint while maintaining the highest product standards. Our commitment to sustainable packaging drives us toward a cleaner, greener future.
